This is a traveling exhibit that was developed by the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam, which is currently touring the U.S. museum circuit courtesy of the Anne Frank Center at the University of South Carolina.
In observance of Yom HaShoah (Jewish Holocaust Remembrance Day), SJC is inviting its community to gather together at the Holocaust Center to view the exhibit as a group on Thursday, April 24th.
FAQ: What distinguishes a traditional Yom HaShoah service from a secular humanist one?
- When: Thursday, April 24th from 4pm-7pm
- Where: Holocaust Center for Humanity, 2045 2nd Ave, Seattle, WA 98121-2205
- Price: The Holocaust Center's suggested donation for tickets to this event is $12/person (or $7/person for verifiable students, seniors and veterans), however, to ensure that this exhibit is accessible to everyone while it's in town, the museum is also offering a Pay What You Can option.
- Registration: Tickets are required, but you may reserve them in advance online OR in person at the door.

Can't make it on 4/24? This exhibit is still worth seeing! Book your visit between April 3rd - May 31st, open every Thursday from 4pm-7pm and every Sunday from 10am-4pm.
Accessibility information:
- Venue is wheelchair accessible, and entirely on the ground floor, but all doors are manual.
- Venue is temperature-controlled (has both heating & air-conditioning).
- Outside food or drink is permitted, but not within the exhibit space. Water fountains/refill stations are available on-site.
- Venue has one gender-neutral restroom available on-site.
- Venue is small but seldom gets crowded. If you need a sensory-safe space, there is a quiet library on-site away from the main exhibit space.
- Service animals are permitted per legal requirements, but animals are otherwise not permitted.
- Venue doesn't have its own parking, so you'll need to use street or nearby lot parking, which may be paid. Nearest parking garages are in the Securities Building, which is accessed from 3rd & 4th Ave between Virgina St & Stewart St, and in the 3rd & Stewart Garage, which is accessed from Stewart St between 2nd & 3rd Ave. As always, carpooling or public transit (next bullet) is encouraged!
