Membership & Registration

Secular Jewish Circle of Puget Sound is busy planning another year of activities, this time all in-person, with virtual options when available. Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur are right around the corner, and Hanukkah, Purim, and Passover are in our sights. We will also continue to participate in Jewish Family Service's Annual Food Drive and Food Sort, community Shabbats, Tu B'Shvat tree planting, and B'nai Mitzvah celebrations.

These events are a way for us to bring the SJC community together, and to provide content and programming for our members and guests, and for us to continue to be the home for secular Jews in Puget Sound.

With this programming in mind, the Steering Committee has arrived at the dues structure for SJC membership for the 2022-23 (5783) Jewish calendar year.

SJC Membership:

  • Pays for venue rental fees, event programming, audio/visual equipment, and organization overhead.
  • Tickets to SJC holidays (Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Hanukkah and Passover) are included in membership. Non-members may be asked for a $25-75 donation, depending on the event.
  • Dues (per year):
    • $250 for one household adult member
    • $100 per additional household adult member
    • Children age 17 and under are free

These dues are suggested amounts. We understand that not everyone can afford to contribute the full amount, and we will not deny membership due to inability to pay. If you are in a position to make a greater donation, your contribution helps us continue to bring programs as well as assist others that may not be able to at this time.

*As SJC is a 501(c)(3) organization, your donations may be tax deductible.
