By popular demand, we're testing the waters for adult education programming! 🎉
Saw our lawn sign, or discovered us via search engine, but are still on the fence about attending a secular humanistic service? Have you attended some of our events already, but want to learn more about this young denomination? 🤔 This short class series is for you! 🫵
When & Where
Our ordained Madrikh/Vegvayzer (aka "Guide"), Jeff Treistman, will be leading this short, three-class series on the Secular Humanistic Judaism denomination in the Bitter Lake neighborhood of Seattle (exact address furnished upon registration). The classes will all also be livestreamed for those unable to attend in person.
Curriculum:
- Thursday, September 25th: Resources, Holidays & Shabbats
- Thursday, October 30th: History, Diversity & Beliefs
- Thursday, November 20th: Lifecycle events, Culture & Role Models
What if I can't make it / miss a class?
To maximize accessibility, you'll find the following options in the registration form below:
- Request a free ride to and from classes.
- Request a livestream link to attend classes virtually.
- Request archived recordings of classes you missed.

- Livestreaming option available for those unable to attend in person. (Checkbox in registration form below.)
- Fully wheelchair-accessible space, with automatic doors and ADA parking spaces near the entrance.
- Venue is air-conditioned/temperature-controlled.
- Free water fountains on-site.
- Plenty of accessible restrooms on-site, but they're not gender neutral.
- Sensory safe spaces and sensory tool kits available for free use.
- Free on-site parking lot.
- Location serviced by local public transit routes 5 and 345.
