SJC Passover Seder & Potluck Dinner

Sunday, April 28, 2024 20 Nisan 5784

5:00 PM - 8:00 PMNorthlake, Seattle (exact address furnished upon registration)

You're warmly invited to join our community for our annual secular Passover Seder and potluck dinner! This year, the event will be hosted in the Northlake neighborhood of Seattle, near Gas Works Park. Precise address will be furnished upon registration.

Any food or drink you plan to share at the event should have a corresponding list of ingredients, for attendees with allergies, sensitivities or diets.

Of all the events we host throughout the year, Passover requires the most preparation, so if you are able, we invite attendees to arrive up to one hour early to help us set up, and/or to stay after the event to help us clean up.

Accessibility information

  • This event will be on the first floor with no more than a few stairs into or out of the venue. Wheelchair ramps (which can be placed over any stairs) are available on request.
  • Gender neutral/family restrooms available.
  • Very limited on-site parking (five spaces) with limited free on-street parking. As always, carpooling is encouraged; let us know if you'll need a ride in the registration form.
  • Outside food and drink is permissable and encouraged (except alcohol) as this is a potluck, just make sure to bring a full ingredients list for the item(s) if you plan to share.
  • Venue serviced by public transit routes 31 and 32.

Donation Information

Passover is one of SJC's most expensive, well-attended events of the year. Your event registration donations helps us afford overhead costs such as venue rental, ritual supplies, and paying a fair wage for contract labor (ex: babysitters, live music, etc).

Suggested donation for this event is $50 per non-member adult attendee. We never propose suggested donations for our events to SJC members because they already pay annual membership dues. (Ready to become a member? Click here!) If you're willing to pay more than the suggested donation, any excess will be used to cover the cost of those unable to afford the suggested donation amount for this event. A donation is never required to attend any SJC event.

This form will process electronic one-time payments and payment plans via ACH, debit cards, credit cards, etc through PayPal, and it can do this whether or not you have a PayPal account. If you prefer to donate using another method, please leave the amount field below blank, which will prevent the form from redirecting you to our PayPal payment portal, and contact Treasurer Seth Levenson at Seth@secularjewishcircle.org to discuss non-electronic payment arrangements.
