2:00 PM - 6:00 PMOverlake neighborhood of Redmond (exact address furnished upon registration)

Help shape the Circle for 5786 (2025-2026)!

Every year, following our final holiday event of the Jewish year, SJC leadership gathers for its annual wrap-up and planning meeting, and you're invited! We want to hear from YOU!

SJC is a 100% volunteer-run, donation-funded cultural organization, so we don't exist, grow or change without you. We invite existing community members to attend this meeting with current leadership so you can share your feedback/insights about the last year, and your ideas for the upcoming year.

Note: If this would be your first event with us, we ask that you instead attend one of our holiday or social events first. (We recommend our fall Meet & Greet picnic!) If you have feedback and ideas you'd like to share with us for discussion at the meeting, you can submit them here.

Itinerary:

  • Review and update our organization's Mission and Vision statements.
  • Review and update our organization's Bylaws.
  • Review and finalize draft schedules for next year's SJC events and MSSS classes.

Requests from retreat host:

  • This event is restricted to the existing SJC community. If this would be your first event with us, we're glad you're so excited! But we encourage you to instead join us for a holiday or social event first!
  • Proof of vaccination will not be requested, but for the safety of all attendees, we strongly urge attendees be up-to-date on their COVID-19 vaccines (up through the 2024-2025 seasonal dose) for this event.

Accessibility information:

  • Venue is fully ADA accessible except that doors on-site are not automatic.
  • Despite the venue permitting them, we ask that you do NOT bring children or pets to this event, as there is a lot to get through so we need to minimize distractions.
  • Outside food/drink is permitted (and encouraged!), and we will have access to a full kitchen as part of our reservation.
  • Venue is temperature-controlled.
  • Restroom is gender-neutral.
  • Plenty of free covered parking available on-site.
  • Venue is accessible via public transit routes 221, 249, 269, 895 and the Link 2 Line.
