Join the Circle as we usher in 5785 with a secular humanist Rosh Hashanah service! 🍎🍯

We will be hosting the service this year in a lovely space in Shoreline. A kiddush will follow, with wine, grape juice, challah, apples and honey for a sweet new year!

Feel free to bring a honey cake, apple cake, or other Rosh-Hashanah-themed food. Note: this will not be a full pot-luck dinner.

FAQ: What distinguishes a traditional Rosh Hashanah service from a secular humanist one?

Please consider bringing non-perishable food donations
in support of Jewish Family Service's Food Drive!

  • Venue has heating, but not cooling. If cooling is required (we don't anticipate this in October!), there are windows on either side of the venue to facilitate a cross-breeze.
  • Venue is spacious, but there is quiet adjoining room which can be used for sensory relief.
  • There are two bathrooms on-site which will be redesignated for the event as gender-neutral.
  • Venue has its own large, free on-site parking lot with two disabled spaces.
