Kol Nidre Ceremony

7:00 PM - 8:30 PMWallingford Neighborhood - Exact location provided with RSVP confirmation.On the evening of Tuesday, Sept. 18, SJC will commemorate Erev Yom Kippur, also known as Kol Nidre (translation: “All Vows”). In an intimate gathering, we will complete our New Year community contemplation of themes of compassion and forgiveness. Cellist Peter Ellis will play the haunting Kol Nidre melody.
Who: Mature teens and adults. No childcare is available.
Note: In accordance with tradition, there will be no food.
While we forgo food in accordance with the traditional fast, we will be collecting food for the Jewish Family Service's annual food drive.
