SJC Purim Spiel & Game Social

Sunday, March 1, 2026 12 Adar 5786

12:00 PM - 3:00 PMPhinney Ridge neighborhood of North Seattle (exact location disclosed upon registration)

Following the J's annual Purim Fest (grab your tickets!), SJC will be hosting its second annual Purim Spiel & Game Social! Join the Circle for a lively recounting of the Purim myth, board & card games, and of course, hamantaschen! Family-friendly costumes are encouraged!

FAQ: What distinguishes a traditional Purim celebration from a secular humanist one?

BYOG - Bring Your Own Games!

Have a favorite or underappreciated game you want to share with everyone? Bring it along! Games that are fast to play, easy to set up,  and easy to learn are most encouraged, but anything family-friendly is welcome!

Accessibility Information

  • Venue is fully mobility accessible (elevators, wide doors, railings on staircases), however all doors are manual, not automatic.
  • Venue has heating, but not cooling. If cooling is required (we don't anticipate this in March), windows can be opened and fans are available on request.
  • Venue is public-facing, so sensory-safe spaces may not be available inside, depending on foot traffic. If you anticipate needing to step away from the chaos, bring a coat so you can comfortably step outside!
  • Outside food and non-alcoholic drink are permitted, and there are public water fountains & water bottle refilling stations on-site.
  • Venue does not permit pets at this time.
  • All bathrooms on-site are gender-neutral.
  • Venue has its own free multi-level parking lot on-site, with the ADA-reserved spaces located in the upper lot.
  • Venue is accessible via public transit route 5, and to a lesser extent, RapidRide E Line, if you're willing and able to walk about 4-5 blocks to/from that stop.
