HELP WANTED
Shalom Sunday,
the Sunday School of Secular Jewish Circle
of Puget Sound, seeks a creative person to teach at our Shalom Sunday school for the 2008-09 school year. Our curriculum includes Jewish history, culture and values from a secular non-theistic perspective, with emphasis on building pride in being Secular Humanistic Jews. Classes meet for 18 classroom sessions and two community service events two Sunday mornings a month from September – June.
We offer small class sizes, a growing resource library, teacher support and competitive salaries. Teaching experience desirable. Interest, enthusiasm, organizational and communication skills, philosophical agreement and a humanistic approach to life are most important.
